Each coating is optimized for a specific material group, and is designed specifically to provide superior tool hardness and strength, and aid in the chip evacuation process by increasing lubricity within flute valleys.


Zplus

 

Zplus provides higher hardness, lubricity, and abrasion resistance. While it's specifically engineered for aluminum applications, it is also an optimal coating for other non-ferrous materials. Zplus holds up well in abrasive materials and reduces the chance of built-up-edge in softer, gummy alloys.

Aplus

Tplus

 

Tplus is an ideal choice for increased wear resistance and longer tool life in rigid, vibration-free machine setups. Tplus excels in a wide variety of ferrous and difficult-to-machine materials including inconel, stainless steel and high hardness materials up to 65 Rc.

As Tplus is an extremely hard coating, it can be greatly beneficial when considering increases in tool life, wear and heat resistance. Tplus is a high-performance coating, and its best performance will be achieved with a high quality, rigid machine setup.
